SNOWDROPS FROM JAPAN
Where are my Snowdrops?
Not one is peeping through.
Last Spring there were no flowers
My garden was so new.
The bulbs came from Japan,
So the label said,
Perhaps they are not happy
In an English bed.
Jasmine has been blossoming
For many weeks now,
And Daffodils are growing tall
Beneath the Apple's bough.
But I wish my Snowdrops would appear
If only to tell
They are growing sturdily
And all is well.
Phyllis Jermy, my Grandmother
Apologies for not putting on a Christmas message this year - events rather took over somewhat. Active lobbying, writing and doing Jurisprudence.
