Independence

The Referendum on Independence is underway now and I am awaiting receipt of a copy of the White Paper response any day now.

Nicola Sturgeon MSP was stating that under the Better Together campaign Scotland could lose its position in Europe if the conservatives win at the next general election. If we won the independence debate Scotland could lose its right to be EU citizens as well.

But what I am wanting answers to from the Better Together campaign is about devolution for England.

Currently we have an

EU Parliament

UK Parliament

Devolved Parliaments for Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland BUT NOT ENGLAND.

Should not the Better Together campaign now set out its stall on devolution for the English as I would like to see an English Parliament for English only politics.

If they can't come up with some English devolution as part of the Scottish package they may have, I might be tempted to vote for Scottish Independence, just so the English are devolved: that would at least be FAIR!
